After installing libqt5core5a-dbgsym, gdb says the segfault is at line 461 of (I'm using the current Qt 5.15.2+dfsg-9 official Debian Bullseye build there is no debian patch on this file) which, surprisingly, is an innoccuous assignment. However, with this patch the qt5 version still segfaults in Qt, just as in the previous comment. + QProcess::setProgram(tokens.takeFirst()) Ĭonnect (this, SIGNAL(readyReadStandardOutput ()), SLOT(readErrOut ())) + QStringList tokens = QProcess::splitCommand(utf8_to_qstring(cmd)) If (state () != QProcess::NotRunning) killProcess (1000)

Actually I am trying to document the "friction" I am encountering coming from a different system that make it a bit harder to adapt. But this may be something for laterīTW, I know this might look like I am newcomer trying to be opinionated and suggesting changes. It would be great to have it then expand to the same results as ALT+SHIFT+4 (I do not want to have a new macro there, it is just a convenience to type, not a change to the macro system.ĥ) This will work great for now, but I do not see how it will work with the whole idea of "semantic math". instead of ALT+SHIFT+4 that I have to press to create a math display (try it on a non-mac keyboard, it is awful) writing the macro \eq is for me quicker (close to home row). I am not totally convinced about the 4) and 5).Ĥ) Shortcuts are great but if you have to move your fingers all over the place it is a bit annoying.

I mentioned "best practices" to make sure there was not a guide on how to change ones habits. I realized the issues with comments and inline macro definitions in a WYSIWYG editor and I realized that what I was suggesting was somewhat orthogonal (or opposite) to the philosophy. I'll take a look at the tm-forge package you mentioned.
